Your Questions, Answered
-
Yes. Relocating toilets, showers, sinks or laundry tubs is common in renovations. We assess what's involved with your existing pipework and drainage and give you a clear picture of cost before work starts. Usually, Josh advises to keep plumbing in the same place but just refresh fixtures if you want to keep costs down.
-
Almost always. Any work involving water supply, drainage or gas must be done by a licensed plumber, and some renovation plumbing requires council consent. Josh will tell you upfront what your project will require so you know what needs to happen to ensure everything is compliant with New Zealand's plumbing and gas regulations.
-
It depends on the scope. A straight single fixture swap-out might take a day, while a full bathroom renovation with reconfigured plumbing typically involves a few visits timed around your builder and tiler. We plan the plumbing stages with your other trades so nothing holds the job up and you have your spaces back in working order asap.
